The Bulls ACADEMY program is committed to player development on and off the field. We not only focus on soccer skills and knowledge of the game, but we emphasize self esteem and emotional well-being as well.
The Bulls Soccer Academy Program concentrates on the following goals and objectives.
- A stress-free atmosphere to expose players to the game
- Emphasize individual skill development
- A competitive environment that encourages players to flourish while focusing on skill development
- Emphasis on quality and long-term benefits rather than short-term gain.
- An age-appropriate development process
- An educational atmosphere for players and parents concerning club values
While the Academy Program functions in a competitive atmosphere, competition is not the foremost focus. We urge our coaches and parents to give each player continuous support based upon each individual player's needs. Parents should expect there to be changes in levels of play as the player(s) mature. The Academy Program is intended to maximize INDIVIDUAL PLAYER DEVELOPMENT rather than team development. Team development can only be accomplished with a group of individuals that are technically proficient. With the Academy age group we will develop the players individually so that they can be effective TEAM PLAYERS as they move into the older age groups. The emphasis is placed on technical progress in the areas of dribbling, passing, receiving, striking balls, and basic decision making.

If my child is new to soccer can they join the Bulls Academy program?
Any player can join the Bulls Academy program any time during the year. Our goal is to develop each individual player to the best of their abilities whether they are new to soccer or have played soccer for several years. The focus is not on winning but player development. We have multiple teams in each age group that allow each player to be placed on a team that fits their skill level. Our professional coaches and programs ensure every player the opportunity to improve.
How much travel is involved?
Travel is very limited for our Bulls Academy age groups. 90% of our events are held at home. Our Academy teams play games against other soccer club’s Academy programs. We also offer exclusive Bulls Academy events throughout the year such as 3v3 tournaments, soccer tennis, indoor soccer, and special clinics. Our Academy teams do participate in various tournaments throughout the course of the year. U8-U10 attend 2-4 tournaments per year. U11-U12 attend 4-6 tournaments per year.
Can my child participate in other sports?
Many players in the Bulls Academy participate in multiple sports year round. Joining the Academy does not limit a player to just soccer.
How often do teams practice during the season?
We offer 2 age group practice sessions throughout the week as well as a third optional specialized training session. Additional team events are scheduled by the head coach with the approval of the Director of Coaching. We offer training in Columbia County, North Augusta, and Aiken.
